This level of support enjoys the following benefits:
- 12 years free access to the garden during opening hours, throughout the season
- Complimentary use of the David Douglas Pavilion once every two years for a small private function
- Complimentary access will be available to “Explorers” to attend botanical lectures during the year
- The names of all Explorers will be permanently inscribed on a board adjacent to the garden entrance
- Plus all the benefits of a Friend’s membership
- All for a single contribution of £2,500. Joint membership £4,000.
Pioneer
This level of support enjoys the following benefits:
- Four years free access to the garden during opening hours, throughout the season*
- Complimentary use of the David Douglas Pavilion once during the period of membership for a private function
- 20% discount will be available to “Pioneers” to attend botanical lectures during the year
- The names of all Pioneers will be inscribed in a book at the entrance to the garden
- Plus all the benefits of a Friend’s membership
- All for a single contribution of £500
Friend
This level of support enjoys the following benefits:
- Free access to the garden for the season*
- 10% discount in the shop
- 10% discount on plant/seed purchases when available
- £25 annual single membership fee. £40.00 joint membership (with the exception of special performances, which will be charged separately.
Seats and Benches
A limited number of seats and benches are available for sponsorship between £1,000 - £3,500. Each seat will include an engraved commemorative plaque if requested by the donor. In addition to the seating currently in place, new seats are planned, these will be hand crafted and artist designed, and will cost between £1,500 - £4,000.
 Plant and Tree Guardians
Your contribution will assist the Explorers Garden with the development and aftercare of it’s many interesting, rare and unusual plants and trees, helping to create a living legacy to the Scottish Plant Hunters. Sponsor a:
- Large Tree - £150.00
- Medium Tree - £100.00
- Small Tree - £75.00
- Tall Shrub - £40.00
- Small Shrub - £20.00
Each contribution will be acknowledged by the presentation of a certificate to the donor or if requested as a special gift to a relative or friend, or in memory of a loved one.
General Donations
The Scottish Plant Hunters Garden is delighted to receive your donation however large or small. Every donation over £10.00 will be acknowledged unless the donor prefers not to be recognised.
Wherever possible all donations should be accompanied by a Gift Aid Declaration Form if appropriate. Please make your cheque payable to ”Explorers Garden”.
