Catriona McKay & Chris Stout

Concert details posted: 3rd Feb:

 stout-and-mckay

Catriona McKay (Scottish harp) and Chris Stout (Shetland fiddle) play a dynamic and adventurous exploration of traditional Scottish music.

Having performed together for 15 years, Catriona & Chris will perform at Pitlochry Festival Theatre for the first time, on Saturday, 11th February. This concert will feature many songs from their self-penned 2010 album White Nights, which is a modulation between past and present, between Summer and Winter, between reliability and risk!

Expect music inspired by the heightened senses during the long, light nights of summer in the north, and by contrast, music which celebrates reflections of winter landscapes and sounds.

Tickets can be bought online or by calling PFT's box office on 01796 484626 or take a chance and try and by on the door on the night!

History

From 1951 to the 21st Century...

Discover our history "When staying in Pitlochry during the early part of the war, I chanced to see a stately house with a fairly large garden, quite close to the town. I at once realised that here my dream theatre might well be established in this fashionable resort right in the heart of Scotland"… John Stewart, Founder of Pitlochry Festival Theatre.
