The Jerry Lee Lewis Story

18th Feb, 7.30pm

All the music, all the energy, all the tragedy, all the glory . . .

jerry-lee-lewis_listHear over 20 of Jerry Lee Lewis's greatest hits performed by Peter Gill and his band as they chart Jerry's meteoric rise to fame through hits such as Great Balls of Fire and Whole Lotta Shakin, on Friday 18th February at Pitlochry Festival Theatre.

This concert performance also follows his equally fast fall from grace when he married his 13 year old cousin, and back to his reinstatement as one of music's biggest names with his triumphal return to the top in the 1960s when he performed at The Star Club in Hamburg. The sensational music and story behind the first wild man of rock - without doubt rock ‘n' roll's most exciting performer - is a must for music lovers and fans alike.

Tickets for this exhilarating concert performance at Pitlochry Festival Theatre can be obtained by calling the box office on 01796 484626 or by buying online or by emailing This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

History

From 1951 to the 21st Century...

Discover our history "When staying in Pitlochry during the early part of the war, I chanced to see a stately house with a fairly large garden, quite close to the town. I at once realised that here my dream theatre might well be established in this fashionable resort right in the heart of Scotland"… John Stewart, Founder of Pitlochry Festival Theatre.
