The Garden will not open 1 April as scheduled. This closure is temporary.

We will re-open as soon as it is possible to do so - safely.

We need your help

Please consider donating and provide vital funds to ensure we are here once this emergency is over.
The garden’s funding comes from you visiting and spending time here with us. Without you, the vast majority of our income is gone and the garden will not be able to stay open.

COVID-19 is a critical threat to the Explorers Garden, the livelihoods of many in the region and in the arts, in tourism and recreational provision.

We’re still here.
And we are determined to survive and keep tending, and regenerating your Explorers Garden.

We can get through this together.

What's On

Following current government advice, the Explorers Garden will not be opening 1 April as scheduled. This closure is temporary.
